Blue and White small plates with uniquely beautiful rims.

These hand made plates have been hand formed with a lovely white sandy textured raku clay body. The rims have been designed with a mixture of organic earthy shapes and scalloped design, each plate has been hand painted with a selection of flowers, spots and lines in a navy blue, they are then glazed in a satin white finish. 

The flower plates (apart from large daisy flowers) were created with the flower first impressed into the damp clay, the impression was then painted with blue glaze.

The bases have been left un glazed.

Measuring approximately 14-14.5cm each

Perfect size for a lovely slice of cake or snack or to hold trinkets, soaps, jewellery around the home.
