Wabi Sabi vessel with wired ceramic handle
A beautiful statement piece hand crafted with a lovely stoneware clay body.
This piece has been hand-built with coils of clay forming a unique original shape, it has a narrow foot and a wide tummy, leaning to one side, a little neck at the top with a flared rim, it has a little handle to one side from which an aged copper wired holding a ceramic handle has been attached balancing the belly on the other side of the vessel.
The pot has been decorated with a marking of vertical thin lines and a crackle like effect over the surface, giving the piece an aged feel, it has a lovely quiet wabi sabi feel and would look fabulous in the right space.
The inside has been glazed inside and is fully watertight should you want to place a flower stem in it.
Measuring approximately: 14.5cm tall x 10cm wide (not inc handle) Rim is 4cm wide
