Rustic floating Butterfly Vases
Whimsical butterfly vases are handmade from a beautiful dark stoneware clay body.
They have a lovely shaped base with an inbuilt flower frog which translates to Kenzan in Japanese (traditionally used for ikebana flower arranging ) which lets you arrange shorter flower stems easily.
They have a beautiful frilly rim detail and gorgeous handmade butterfly's attached to the tops (3 on each rim) and they also have a wired butterfly attached to the body that appears to be floating mid air. The wire used is copper that has been tinted for a vintage appearance.
These little vases are works of art and very sculptural with or without flowers.
They measure approximately: 14cm wide x 11cm tall (17cm tall when including the floating butterfly)
The bases have been sanded and left bare.
