Polka dot plates in grey & black/white on gritty clay

More spots and dots on hand made ceramic plates using a very gritty clay body the heavy speckle is revealed under the glaze.

The larger black spot plate has an uneven oval shape with a slightly curved rim, glazed with a black to create the spots each individually hand painted on and then glazed over with a satin white glaze.
It measures approximately: 29.5cm long x 23cm wide

The smaller oval plate has been hand made out of the same gritty clay body it's been carved with circles and lines which have then been glazed with a grey and satin white glaze. It measures approximately: 22.5cm long x 12cm wide.

The bases of both plates have been left bare and unglazed, they have been sanded back.
