Large Rustic vase with long neck 

This large rustic gritty handmade ceramic vase has been created using a beautiful dark stoneware clay body, it has been impressed with lots of little indents that have then been decorated with a black under-glaze to fill the crevices, the next layer is a white clay slip to decorate the top, this gives the appearance of an aged surface texture and allows the black to pop against the white. 

Works beautifully with different foliage/flowers as pictured here in different scenarios.

The inside of the vessel has been glazed in a satin white finish and is fully water tight. 

This piece has a long neck and is able to support a heavier stem/branch.
