These earthy plates with their lovely turned over textural edging and free-form shape were inspired when I was preparing some pastry and creating a delicious berry galette, can you see my inspiration?
Hand-formed with a softly speckled brown clay body and then textured with a linen imprint, glazed in a satin white which allows the clay body to shine thru.
Underside has been left un glazed.
These plates have a great weight to them and despite their delicate looking edging are strong and durable.
