Extra Large Poppy Pod Vase
Handmade with a beautiful textured gritty speckled clay body, this beautiful piece has been inspired by a dried poppy pod, it has been textured with folds in the clay, giving it a lovely sense of movement and surface depth and shadows.
The rim has cut out scalloped details and the interior has little divot textures, it has an interior opening measuring approximately 1.5cm to hold a thick stem, it's been glazed inside so its fully watertight and the exterior has the matte white glaze drizzled over the surface to show off the beautiful clay where the glaze hasn't covered the surface.
The base is left un glazed and is sanded.
Measuring approximately: 17cm tall x 19cm wide
This is a real statement piece and would look beautiful in many different style interiors, it's truly one of a kind piece of art.
