Blue and white flower carved vase.
Handmade on the potters wheel using a smooth white clay body, it was formed with a rounded belly and sturdy bottle neck rim.
Decorated with a navy blue glaze which has had some flowers carved into it using a sgraffito technique. The lower base is then carved and the entire piece is glazed with a satin white finish. The underside is not glazed and sanded.
This medium sized vase holds little posies of flowers beautifully.
It measures approximately: 11cm wide x 9.5cm tall
