Sculptural vessel/vase to bring a little wabi sabi to your space, this piece looks wonderful with or without any flowers or dried foliage displayed in it.
Inspired out of a love of Japanese forms and Ikebana, which is the Japanese art of flower arranging, blossoms, branches, leaves and stems.
This piece is a one off original, handmade with a dark stoneware clay body, it has been decorated with cutouts carved into the top of the piece, narrowing to a little scallop rim, the glaze is a satin white finish, breaking over the rims and cutouts to reveal the clay body beneath.
This piece is vitrified and can hold water in the base.
The base has been sanded and left unglazed.
