Footed bowls with a lovely shape and curve, hand made and one of a kind.
They are formed out of a softly gritty white clay body and then slip ( a liquid clay has been applied) the interiors have been glazed with a black/charcoal satin finish, allowed to cover the top one cm of the outside rim, the rest of the exterior has been left unglazed allowing the very matte texture of the black slip to contrast against the satin interior.
The base of the feet have been left unglazed (medium is black / small is white)
*The glaze on the exterior rim has a very slight flashing in a few spot in a very dark green, have a look at the last image you are able to see a little hint, therefore these are slightly reduced as I was looking for an all black finish.
These bowls have a deeper interior to the shallow footed bowls.
Medium sized are: 19cm wide x 5.5-6cm interior x 7cm including foot
Small sized are: 15.5cm wide x 5.5-6cm interior x 7cm including foot
