Wabi Sabi Black textured plates with side tab handles

A little wabi sabi in the form of two very imperfectly unique plates, both have been textured by hand with a distinct pattern, little tab handles one rectangular, one oval in shape.
They have been decorated with slip and satin black glaze. The rectangular plates edging and handles are a very matte black and without any glaze, the satin black/charcoal has been applied thickly and allowed to drip. It almost has a metal feel to it.
Both pieces have been created with a sandy white clay body and the bases have been left un glazed and sanded.
