A beautiful unique bowl full of character and charm, hand-formed with a dark gritty clay, it's nice and deep and would be the perfect shape to hold some lovely fruits like apples or lemons (pictured here are some medium size grapefruits). It has been glazed to reflect a rustic look, a little drippy and loose brushstrokes, in greys and white allowing the heavy speckles from the deep brown clay body to shine thru. It has a tall foot that has been faceted, the base has been left unglazed.
