This collection of hand crafted vases has been crafted from a lovely sandy textured white clay body. Each is unique in its own way from the rim variation to the texture and shape.
Descriptions of vases from Left to Right
Vase 1: measures: 15cm tall x 4.5cm opening and 5.5cm wide base
Glazed satin white interior and raw clay body exterior with raked textured exterior, the shape of this vase has been pleated to give its narrow opening and movement to this classy simple piece.
Vase 2: measures: 19.5cm tall x 3.5cm opening and 6cm wide base
Glazed satin white interior and outer lip/rim and raw exposed clay body on the exterior, the shape of this vase is fluid with the impressions pressed into the surface to give a sense of movement resulting in a lovely elegant feel to this raw white vase.
Vase 3: measures: 14.5cm tall x 7cm wide at rim
Glazed satin white interior and raw outer allow the beautiful raked lines texture, the rim has been formed in a loose scallop edging.
Vase 4: measures: 14.5cm tall x 6.5cm wide
Glazed satin white interior and 3/4 exterior with the fluted bottom 1/4 unglazed.
The outer surface has been pressed with a lace texture and carved bottom. A lovely classic and simple vase.
All vases have their bases unglazed and sanded.
