Large rustic speckled sculptural vase with unique scallop rim.
This sculptural vase was hand crafted using a gritty brown rustic textured clay body.
The shape of the rim is deeply lobed and curves inwards to better hold foliage in position along with being very decorative and unique.
The vase has been carved at the bottom half of the body to mimic the shape of the rim. The entire piece has been glazed inside and out in a satin white finish.
The base has been left bare and sanded back
This vase easily holds a bouquet of flowers, larger stems, foraged foliage, the deeply lobed rim is perfect for holding flowers and prevents them from flopping, this piece would also be lovely to hold long handled spoons and cooking utensils by your stovetop.
Measuring approximately: 26.5cm tall x 12cm wide at base and rim.
