Large Protea Vase with deeply carved scallop rim - 25cm Tall

Large handmade sculptural vase perfect for holding a gorgeous bouquet of flowers or equally lovely displayed without.

A beautifully unique hand crafted sculptural vase using a dark brown stoneware clay body. The shape of the rim is carved with inspiration being taken from a protea plants leaves. The carvings add interest and lovely texture to the body of the piece, it has been glazed in a grey and white satin matte surface. The interior is glazed satin white and the base has been left bare and sanded back. 

This vase easily holds a bouquet of flowers, the deeply lobed rim is perfect for holding flowers and prevents them from flopping, this piece would also be lovely to hold long handled spoons and cooking utensils by your stovetop. 

Measuring approximately: 25cm tall x 10cm wide at base, 12cm wide at top rim.
