Sage Leaf Impression Vases
Handmade vases using a beautiful textured white raku clay body. Cylindrical in form they all have a slightly curved neck (apart from the one with the scalloped rim detail)
The clay body has been impressed with sage leaves each vase has 3 impressions right the way around the vessel, from a large leaf to two smaller small shaped leaves either side. The impressions are then decorated with a watercolour navy blue glaze and the interiors and outer rims are then glazed in a satin white (making them fully watertight) the blue sage designs have been left raw allowing the beautiful sandy texture of the clay to shine thru and show off the sage impressions.
The bases have been stamped with the clay beehive logo and sanded
